I rebooted machine to windows selected one channel in tv tuner software of windows, again rebooted machine to ubuntu (i have dual boot windows XP and ubuntu 2.6.35.23). edited saa7134-cards.c and deployed new kernel linux-2.6.36.2 with changes.
Then i followed instruction given by rsramkee ( ). tvtime would always say no signal and tvtime-scanner never picked up any channels.
